What can you do with Vinyl records? This concept started from this question and this lamp eventually emerged. What exactly is it? It is a concrete lamp with a dynamic soft and natural look. You do not expect this quickly from concrete. But how did he get this shape? It’s already revealed in the first sentence, vinyl records. Old vinyl records from the thrift shop that have been melted down with hot water in a beautiful dynamic shape. Filled with concrete. Painted and put a pear in it. You can do a lot more with a material than just what it was made for. New things can arise from an old material!

PROCESS
It started with experimenting with materials and techniques. From there I started to distort Vinyl records and Singles. Then I started experimenting with concrete and plaster and the shapes I could make with them. After that I came up with a nice shape that I continued with.
END RESULT
From the experiment I started to form Vinyl records and install concrete together with the pendulum. Which in the end gave a nice end result. I finished it with some concrete, a nice color and a nice lamp. I wanted it to look like a natural product hence the white color.
